The Business Development Specialist will drive the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can build lasting relationships and strategically position the company within the marketplace.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to increase company revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and potential growth areas.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create strategies for lead generation.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business development goals are met.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the company.
Required Skills / Software
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Collaboration Skills:
  • Strong teamwork abilities, working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Nice to Haves:
  • Previous experience in B2B business development.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and legal document preparation.
  • Understanding of the tech industry and software solutions.
