We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, robust applications and services using Python. You will work closely with other developers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality code while helping to architect solutions and improve our development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient Python applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and design requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code with proper documentation.
- Ensure code quality by performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work with modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) to develop APIs and services.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in Python development and best practices.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of complex backend systems and microservices.
Required Skills / Software
- Expert in Python, with at least 5 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git.
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, UnitTest).
Collaboration Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers in coding best practices and troubleshooting.
- Experience in agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced development environment.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, or Angular.
